I don't normally do this sort of thing on my blog, but rules were meant to be broken.
This morning I received word that my closest girlfriend from my office went into full cardiac arrest last night. Blessedly, her two teenage daughters called 911 and were able to begin CPR on her until the ambulance arrived. She was airlifted to a Spokane hospital and is there in ICU.
The doctors are keeping her body temperature at 93 degrees until they can assess the damage. The latest update (3pm today) is that she opened her eyes, recognized her husband, and teared up at the sight of him. GREAT NEWS!
So, this is for all your pray-ers out there. Her name is Janet and we are praying for Jesus' healing touch on her body and for peace of mind for her family. After all, He is the Great Physician. Currently, Janet is on two church prayer chains in our area.
Also, the doctors are going to begin warming her up tomorrow. Maybe this Easter we'll see a real resurrection.
Thank you and Happy Easter.
Janet--I love you.
